Individual Online Psychotherapy
Video and phone sessions across Ontario

What to expect

Therapy looks different for everyone; there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Sometimes therapy is simply having a supportive sounding board, other times it’s learning new skills and strategies to help you cope, and at times it can be a space to reflect, gain clarity, and see things from a new perspective. Together, we’ll explore your experiences and work toward the goals that matter most to you.

Sessions take place either online or over the phone. We use a secure video platforming system that is PIPEDA and PHIPA compliant system called Jane App. so you can participate from the comfort of your own home (fur babies welcome)! We also offer outdoor Walk & Talk Therapy in Pickering.

1

FREE CONSULTATION

Free 15-minute consultations are offered by phone or video. This is an opportunity to get to know each other and ask any questions you may have. You can book right away or take time to decide. We encourage you to meet with a few of us to find the right fit.

2

COMPLETE INTAKE

After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with access to our secure online system where you will complete intake and consent forms before your first session. These forms help us understand your history and what is bringing you in. There's no "right way" to do this, you can share whatever you're comfortable with sharing.

3

START THERAPY

Once paperwork is complete, you will receive appointment reminders and your video link 30 mins prior to your session (if applicable). Initial sessions typically consist of history taking, reviewing logistics and consent, clarifying goals, and beginning therapy at a pace that feels supportive and comfortable.
