My Approach

Grief is often associated with death, but in my experience, it shows up in many forms—after the loss of a relationship, a job, a sense of purpose, or a hoped-for future. These losses, though sometimes invisible to others, carry real emotional weight. Supporting people through grief in all its forms is a central part of my work, and I strive to create a space where your experience is seen, honoured, and gently explored.

For over two decades, I’ve worked alongside individuals and families living with chronic illness, including those impacted by dementia. I understand how illness reshapes identity, roles, and relationships, and I offer care that’s attuned to both the emotional and practical complexities of these journeys, especially for care partners who often carry so much, quietly and continuously.

In addition to grief and caregiving, I support people navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and questions of meaning and identity. My approach is collaborative and grounded in empathy, drawing from models like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Therapy with me is a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the parts of you that long to be heard and healed.

Wherever you are in your journey, I’m here to meet you with warmth, respect, and a deep belief in your capacity for growth.
