Approach
Taking the first step toward therapy is both brave and important. I understand that navigating therapy websites can feel overwhelming, especially when you're unsure, exhausted, or disconnected from your emotions. Rest assured, you've found the right place to begin this journey.
I’m Sarah, a Registered Psychotherapist. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and integrative, honouring your uniqueness and autonomy. Under the supervision of a Registered Psychotherapist, I offer a trauma-informed space where every individual, regardless of background or identity, is welcomed and supported.
Drawing from a diverse toolkit of trauma-informed, mindfulness-based interventions, solution-focused therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and somatic therapy. My experience is supporting individuals managing burnout, life-transitions, healing from traumatic events or life threatening diagnosis. I tailor each session to your specific needs. At the core of my practice is a deep belief in the transformative power of empathy, which I strive to bring into every session. My goal is to create a therapeutic alliance based on trust, so you feel genuinely cared for and supported throughout our work together.
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. You are not alone in this journey. I aim to empower you to confront challenges, foster self-compassion, and embark on a path of personal growth and healing. I offer a free consultation to ensure we’re a good fit.
